This Privacy Policy describes how Krishnam Apps ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the mobile application All Bank Balance Passbook (the "App") and the website allbankpassbook.app (the "Site"), collectively referred to as the "Service."
By installing, accessing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Summary
All Bank Balance Passbook is a privacy-first utility app:
- No account. No sign-up, no phone number verification, no email login.
- No banking credentials. We never ask for or store your PIN, password, OTP, debit card number, account number or net banking login.
- On-device only. If you grant SMS permission, banking SMS are read locally on your device to display a passbook view. They are not transmitted to us.
- No sale of data. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Support communications. If you email us or use our contact form, we receive your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to respond to you.
- Optional preferences. Choices you set inside the App (e.g., favourite banks, language, theme) are stored locally on your device.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Crash and performance data. The App may send anonymised crash reports and performance metrics to our analytics provider so we can fix bugs and improve stability. This data does not include the contents of any SMS, your bank balance, or any personally identifying banking information.
- Device information. Limited technical information such as device model, operating system version, language and App version may be collected with crash reports.
2.3 Information from your device (with permission)
- SMS messages. Read locally on your device. See SMS permission below.
- Phone state / call placement. Used to place outgoing missed calls to your bank. See Call permission.
3. Information we never collect
- Your bank account number, IFSC code, debit card number or CVV.
- Your bank login, internet banking password, UPI PIN, ATM PIN or OTP.
- The contents of your SMS messages (we do not transmit them off your device).
- Your bank balance or transaction amounts.
- Your contact list, location, photos, files or microphone data.
4. SMS permission
The App requests READ_SMS permission to display a passbook-style summary of your recent bank transactions. Here is exactly what happens:
- SMS reading is performed entirely on your device.
- Only SMS messages matching known bank sender IDs (e.g., SBIINB, HDFCBK, ICICIB) are inspected.
- Matching messages are parsed locally to extract transaction summaries (date, type, amount).
- The original SMS contents and parsed data are never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
- You may revoke this permission at any time from your Android device settings. The rest of the App will continue to function.
Per Google Play's Permissions Policy, we declare this permission exclusively for the core "Banking and SMS-based money management" feature of the App, and we comply with all Play Store policies governing sensitive permissions.
5. Call permission
The App requests CALL_PHONE permission so it can place outgoing missed calls to your bank's official balance-enquiry number when you tap a button. The App:
- Only places a call when you actively initiate it.
- Does not record, monitor or transmit any call audio.
- Does not place calls to numbers other than the publicly published bank service numbers used inside the App.
6. How we use information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Provide and operate the App's features.
- Respond to support enquiries and user feedback.
- Fix bugs, prevent crashes and improve performance.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
7. Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We disclose information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers who help us run the App (e.g., crash reporting). They process anonymised technical data on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality.
- Legal compliance. If required by law, court order or government request from a valid authority in India, we may disclose limited data to the extent legally required.
- Business transfer. In the unlikely event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, user information may transfer to the successor entity, subject to this Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
The App may use the following types of third-party services. Each is bound by their own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services — for App distribution, updates and required device APIs.
- Crash/analytics provider — for anonymised stability metrics.
- Advertising network (if applicable) — non-personalised ads may be served. We do not allow advertisers to access your SMS data or banking information.
When you tap a link inside the App that takes you to your bank's official website, missed-call service, EPFO portal or any government website, you leave our App and the destination's own privacy policy applies.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any information we hold. Because the App is designed so that sensitive data never leaves your device, your most important banking information remains under your control at all times. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data retention
- On-device data (preferences, cached lookups): stored only on your device and removed when you uninstall the App.
- Support emails: retained for as long as necessary to address your enquiry, typically up to 24 months.
- Crash reports: retained by our crash reporting provider in anonymised form, typically up to 90 days.
11. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Withdraw consent to optional data processing.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at vekariyakrishnam@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law (such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements or our practices. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice inside the App or on this website.
